CCNC is best known for its nationally ranked Dogwood Course (renovated in 1999) and Cardinal Course (renovated in 2002). Among the amenities available at CCNC are a full service pro-shop, men's & ladies'  locker rooms, practice facility, and handicap service. Golf at CCNC is for the entire family with Men's & Ladies' events, Couple Tournaments, Twilight events, Ladies' 9 hole Golf, Dornochers Men's Group, Junior Golf programs and a number of tournaments.

It is a challenge not because of its length, topography, unruly routing, water features or green size - but because of the combination of factors that have made thousands laugh and cry at the same time. Crowned greens. Carefully placed bunkers. Strategic layout that tests both the long and short game. It is golf the way it was meant to be played, "the fairest test of championship golf" ever designed by Ross, in his own words. It is also top 10 in the country, and site of more championships than any other course in the country, including the 2005 U.S. Open Championship. The US Open will return in 2014. 

Caddies are available for an additional $50 per bag plus gratuity. Our recommended caddie gratuity is $25 per bag for a walking caddie and $15 per bag for a forecaddie. Superior service gratuity is $40 and up per bag.

DORMIE is an 18 hole Coore & Crenshaw designed golf club that opened as a private club in May 2010. Many consider Dormie to be their best work to date. Non-member play is being accepted for a limited time. The course is built on 307 acres and located in the middle of 1,028 acres of rolling sand hills. There is a 110' change of elevation  across the property. Dormie was originally designed as a walking only course. We have added carts for those who would rather ride. Caddies and fore caddies are recommended.

Routinely named among North Carolina's top two or three courses (and NC is unusually blessed with exceptional golf courses) Pine Needles stands as one of Donald Ross's most praiseworthy creations. And with its 2005 renovation, Pine Needles has been restored to Ross's original intent. "Time had softened some of the challenges of Pine Needles," said John Fought who led the renovation. "We tried to bring those subtleties back, especially around the greens." Aided by aerial photography from last century, Fought was able to match Ross's original vision.

In our fast-paced world, we've come to value traditions that reach out  to touch the past. That's why Mid Pines is so special and rare among golf clubs. It has 18 holes that are in exactly the same positions with the same numbers as when the course opened in 1921.Many people have characterized the course as "pure Donald Ross" because of how it fits the land where it was built. It has few forced carries or artificial or contrived holes. Says Lee Pace, writing about the course in Pinehurst magazine: "Mid Pines was never conceived as a daunting task to the finest players competing under championship conditions ... Mid Pines was intended simply as a fun course with adequate challenge for members and guests of a private club and resort."

Check in procedures for House: 

The house has an electronic key box on the front door & we will email you the code to get into the house. The Vouchers for each course and your packet of information will be waiting for you at the house. If you are playing the Pinehurst Resort Course you will not need Vouchers. The packet will also have a local map in it as well as area information and contact info if you run into any problems.
