Pinewild CC ~ Magnolia & Holly

Originally designed by Gene Hamm, the 18-Hole, par 72 Magnolia Course opened to rave reviews in 1989, & within two months was ranked as one of the top 50 courses in the entire southeastern U. S. by Golf Week. Over the past two years, the Magnolia has seen a complete multi-million dollar redesign, to include new greens complexes with Crenshaw Bent Grass, bunkers & cart paths. The result is a truly fantastic lay-out with emphasis on risk-reward golf. A special signature design by golf's legendary world traveler, Gary Player, the Holly course is the perfect compliment to the Magnolia. The Holly features fewer bunkers, more water & smaller greens. Vast areas of longleaf pines were left untouched, & the course features numerous natural waste bunkers.  The design utilizes the property's many lakes, ponds and streams that wind through numerous wooded areas throughout the course. Multiple tees present a variety of challenges, but the course is definitely playable for golfers of all skill levels. The Holly is proud to have hosted the Carolinas PGA Pro-Pro Championship, as well as numerous other Carolinas Golf Association and USGA qualifying events.

Talamore

No ordinary golf course receives the kind of acclaim and international praise that has been given to Talamore's 18-hole course since it’s opening in 1991. Talamore has been ranked in the forefront of outstanding courses in the Village of Pinehurst area; an area which has been known for its golfing traditions for over a century. Talamore Golf Partners hired architect Rees Jones to bring his considerable talents back to Village of Pinehurst in order to design a course that would be visually striking and exceptionally enjoyable. The result was a 7,020 yard course that was ranked in the top five new courses in America upon its opening in 1992 by Golf Digest. According to Rees Jones:  "This is a position course. Length isn't going to benefit the long hitter. What I'm trying to do is require thinking. I don't want to take the drive out of the golfer's hands, but what I want him to have to think about whether he wants to use it.  You have to manufacture golf shots and make them happen. Strategy is an important key to a successful round of golf here.  My hope is that golfers will enjoy this dimension of the game.  Talamore is intended to capture the best of classic golf in the Village of Pinehurst area. The site has a spirit that's unmistakable: one that allowed for a remarkable diversity of features.  There's a challenge in the course that's meant to add to the enjoyment of the game. After all, golf is supposed to be fun."

Tobacco Road

Described as "Pine Valley on steroids" and "golf's rock and roll thrill ride", Tobacco Road Golf Club is certainly unique.  Carving his way through an old sand quarry, Mike Strantz created one of the most celebrated and talked about courses in the world. Consistently rated amongst the nation's best, Tobacco Road is the one course that leaves you and your golfing friends begging for more.  The scene is so breath-taking you will want to bring along your camera to forever capture the greatness of "The Road".  Playing at a length of 6500 yards from the Ripper tees, Tobacco Road was rated as high as second in slope to the famed Ocean Course at Kiawah Island.

Due on or before 45 days prior to arrival; FEBRUARY 1, 2010; if final payment is not received within 5 days of due date, a $20 late fee will be applied to final payment. PAID IN FULL

All payments need to be made to AME. We accept check, money order, & cash. We accept VISA, Master Card, and American Express. All rates are quoted per person based on double occupancy per room reserved.  As a convenience to our travelers sharing rooms we have provided a per person cost. Please be advised however, that should the number of travelers sharing a room change due to cancellations or no-shows, the total person cost of the rooms is the responsibility of the remaining occupants of the room.

Early arrival and late departure may be requested through AME Golf and subject to approval.

Check in procedures for House's: 

You can go directly to the house when you arrive. Either the house will be open or the key will be under the mat. There are extra keys inside. If you want to go to the house first, you are welcome to. The Vouchers for each course and your packet of information will be waiting for you at the house. If you are playing the Pinehurst Resort Courses you will not need Vouchers. The packet will also have a local map in it as well as area information and contact info if you run into any problems.
